ABOUT ME

My name is Christoph Peprnicek and as a trainer and sports scientist I support people who want to efficiently improve their performance in sport and everyday life.

 

With many years of experience in top-class sports and the use of the latest technologies, I help you and my interdisciplinary team to implement your goals.

 

As an enthusiastic cyclist, I was able to turn my passion into a career. 

As a trainer, I led the Austrian national mountain bike team (XCO/XCM/XCE) for 10 years with 20 - 25 athletes and a support team of 10 people. In addition to coordinating the team, conducting training courses and organizing and supporting major sporting events, I increased the professionalism in the care of top athletes and was able to celebrate many successes with my team. 

In 2020 I took over the sporting management of the Austrian Cycling Association for a total of 9 divisions and 24 disciplines and led a team of 20. In addition to sending people to major sporting events such as European Championships, World Championships and the Olympic Games, the focus here was on the training and further education of trainers and the promotion of young talent and talent.

 

I was also able to use my knowledge as a speaker for the training of instructors and trainers and as a leader in projects with cooperation partners (University of Vienna, Siegmund Freud University of Vienna) in the field of science. I was able to use this acquired knowledge at countless World Championships, European Championships and also three Olympic Games (London 2012, Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020) and, as a highlight, led a team around gold medalist Anna Kiesenhofer in Tokyo 2020.

 

After 13 successful years in cycling, I would like to personally pass on my knowledge to people in competitive sports as well as in the health and hobby sports sectors.
